[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”772″ img_size=”full”][vc_column_text]1. What motivates you to do what you do?

People, just that average person out there who wants to change their lifestyle. Being able to help them achieve goals and things that they have never thought possible is so fulfilling and that gets me waking up 5 am to teach classes.

[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”773″ img_size=”full”][vc_column_text]2. What were the biggest obstacles you’ve faced in your journey so far?

To be honest, the biggest obstacle is financial problems which sometimes gives my husband (Noel) and I thoughts like “Is this the right move? Can we sustain this? Are we doing enough?” However, at the end of the day, I find that it’s worth it when we hear news such as someone overcoming depression, reversing diabetes and more.
[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]3. What is your goal for 2018?

My personal goal for 2018 is to take better care of myself. As for my company, I want it to help more people achieve their dream to have a better quality of life by taking control of their health and fitness.
[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”774″ img_size=”full”][vc_column_text]4. Who inspires you to do more?
First and foremost, my husband, Noel Chelliah who is the founder of DailyMuscle, and secondly, the people that we work with inspires me greatly.

5. What is your message to our readers?
One quote that has been constantly challenging me to achieve more is “If you want something you’ve never had, you’ve got to do something you’ve never done.”

[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”784″ img_size=”full”][vc_column_text]1. What motivates you to do what you do?

Seeing progress physically, mentally and visually gives me the motivation to get my workouts done. Everyone has their own way of relieving stress and going to the gym is mine. I also want to be able to keep up with my 16-month-old son who doesn’t seem to be able to sit still.

Food is my biggest obstacle! I’m such a foodie so I include cheat meals to keep me sane and I cook healthier versions of meals or desserts so I don’t feel guilty indulging.

I wouldn’t call it an obstacle but getting pregnant of course set me back on my fitness goals. I exercised and ate healthy whilst pregnant but after I gave birth I felt like I was starting from ground zero. I had lost a lot of muscle and my strength, I had to work hard to build that back up. It was not easy whilst looking after a new born, breastfeeding along with the lack of sleep. I got there eventually and now I feel stronger than I was pre-pregnancy.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”786″ img_size=”full”][vc_column_text]3. What is your goal for 2018?

Drop body fat and maintain it. My goal is 18 to 20 percent body fat. I also want to build my strength especially my upper body. My husband wants to take us rock climbing and I want to be able to keep up.
[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”787″ img_size=”full”][vc_column_text]4. Who inspires you to do more?

My husband! He is such a go getter and always pushes himself hard in everything he does be it work, sports or fitness. He makes me want to do more and I know I can, because he supports and encourages me at the same time.
[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”788″ img_size=”full”][vc_column_text]5. What is your message to our readers?

● Always set realistic short and long-term goals so you have something to work towards.
● Plan! Plan! Plan! I always plan my workouts and meals ahead of time. It ensures I get my workouts in and helps me eat better. It’s so important especially if you’re juggling family and work at the same time.
● Stay consistent and be patient. No matter what your goals are, be patient because Rome was not built in a day. Put in the work, stay consistent with the occasional treat and you will see results!
