Our eyes are glued from screen to screen daily. It’s a vicious cycle as we switch from looking at our phones, to computer screens, the television and tablet throughout the day.
To most of us, doing so is necessary. As a matter of fact, such a routine is defined as being productive and it is even more so when you’re working from home or being confined at home due to the current pandemic.
Therefore, it is no surprise that a screen-filled life does have its consequences especially in the long-run such as affecting your eyesight, circadian rhythm, physical inactivity (which could lead to obesity) and possibly affecting your brain function.
The way we live today in this digital age inspired three friends, Ivon Fam, Ivy Lee and
Nyiok Hoe to start WUMU Terrariums to introduce indoor plants to help relax your mind as
well as eyes after a screen-centric day.
