Work got you down? Maybe you just need a boost to help you along. Here’re some suggestions on feeling more fulfilled at work.
#1: Keep it simple, silly
Does your to-do list make you want to turn it over and walk away? It might be because it’s too crowded. Keep it to the three to five most important tasks you need to get done to achieve your goals.
#2: Change the way you think
Instead of asking yourself, ‘Why did they give me so much work?’ or ‘Why do I have to wake up so early to go to work?’, change tack and think more positively. Ask yourself, ‘How can I perform this better and increase effectively?’
#3: Tweak your belief system
If you find yourself in a rut, try changing how you think of yourself and your performance at work. Rather than ‘I can’t make my sales because of…’, try ‘I’m on my way to being the top salesperson of the company’. The key is ‘I’m on my way’. List down three beliefs that could prevent you from achieving success and replace your excuses with ‘I’m on my way to…’
