3 Unconventional Travelling Tips

Have a checklist, bring a spare set of clothes, don’t forget a copy of your prescription are common travel tips that you hear of.

While those are definitely the basics of a travel checklist, we would like to bring to you three other useful tips that are a little unconventional but very practical.

Bring Your Own Pillowcase

As much you might hate to admit it, let’s face it, nothing is better than the smell of home when you’re travelling. Instead of packing your pillow during your trip, which can take up a lot of luggage space, bring along a fresh pillowcase instead. It saves so much more space and if you don’t use it, you could reduce waste by turning it into a laundry bag!

BYOB

Bring your own bottle (BYOB) during travelling. This saves you lots of money and it helps the environment too. Plus, it’s also less painful to your pocket if there’s a need to empty your bottle before boarding.

A Clothespin

A toothbrush is probably the most sacred tool that you use in the bathroom. It’s a necessity and the last thing you’ll want is for it to be in contact with a dirty surface. It doesn’t matter if you’re staying at a backpacker’s lodge or a hotel, there are times where you might not be able to find an appropriate spot for your toothbrush and is this where a clothespin will come in handy as it serves as a stand for your toothbrush to stay away from dirty surfaces.

We sure hope you can take these handy travelling tips with you on your next trip and that it’ll help to reduce any stress or hassles.
